Wow, are you saying you have 1.8-2.1 million uniques per month? At 7-9% CTR you must be very rich! Care to tell us your website?
Theres alot of factors that determins how much CTR your likely to receive. This includes but is not limited to: How well your ads are optimized to your sites content plus their position. How targetted your sites traffic is. The quality of your site. Poor quality makes visitors want to click away. The niche of your site. Etc... I have a site that has a low CTR and then another one that has an average CTR. I have found though that everytime I design the site the CTR has decreased which is mainly because the design improves and the site looks more better giving it more pageviews per unique visitor.
I have adsense on a forum. Typical CTR is around 0.6%. Some of my other sites are in the 6-7% region though.
I have difficulty believing these 7% and 10%+ stories when there's a high traffic load. To believe 1 out of every 10, over thousands of people will click an ad is too much for me to process
mine is around 10% and me still a novice...pm me ur site URL and i could give you a few suggestions to improve your CTR.... hope to spread my little knowledge, hopefully ill be able to help
If you have a userbase of internet marketers the CTR is ok I think, I can't remember when was the last time I clicked on an adsense ad. On sites that have nothing to do with internet marketing I achieved CTR's of 15% even more. If people don't know what adsense is and find the add interesting they will click on it, period. Good luck with your CTR venture, testing testing testing
Yes, A CTR has a value 1% - 10% is very best for adsense. But it may depend on the type of the site. Many web masters type site has a low CTR.Bcz most of the visitors know about adsense. So they ignore the ads.
