My ctr increased thrice by changing internet based ads preference option in adsense

    IN my account-> ads display preference..there is an option to change the ads display preference option - I selected do no show option and now my ctr is thrice of what it was previously..I am not sure if this is because of my niche education...anyone else tried it?

    Well, I doubt this would have any effect on your earnings - are you sure your traffic didn't increase, or you had a good day, earnings wise?

    Did you check your traffic? If your traffic did not increase you should wait for a few days to see the result.

    yep not much increase in traffic.... even I am not sure how that can increase ctr to that extent

    Yeah there was not much increase in traffic...i guess now only education related ads are being shown and that increased ctr..not sure though

    low traffic and same number of clicks leads to high CTR. which is of no use. CTR is clicks per 100 views.
