I think I have the worlds worst ctr and ecpm. CTR around 0.3% and ecpm around 0.25,,, what the heck!!

I am having similar problem, not as worst as you but its pretty bad, if I could double my CTR, that'd be great.

It probably has a lot to do with your content - what's your site about? $.25 cpm is pretty low, you might get a lift from changing the placement of your ads, but it's impossible to affect advertisers' bids.

Nothing changed... same visitors, same placement.

My CTR is extremely low, but something I expected. I can't change the CTR much so the only option is more traffic.

Don't be so fast to blame Google...

Could be competition for that keyword has died down and advertisers are bidding less. Or advertisers are simply using the search network after poor results on content sites. Could be a number of things besides Google "ripping people off"

Wow $3 eCPM is very high for me. If I can keep everything at minimum of $2 eCPM, I'll be very very happy.

I've tried almost everything suggested in this forum and I think I'm making 20% more than before, but still low, I guess my content is bad or too good that people dont click ads and plus advertiser's bids are low.
From yesterday I saw that 1 particular channel had 10 clicks and I got 10 cents total. :(

Wow, and I was feeling sorry for myself with $20.00-$30.00 eCPMs! I used to get $50.00-$70.00.

Can't complain, though as my overall earnings are up substantially thanks to DP.

ECPM of $22, wish I had that... all my sites together my ECPM is somewhere between 2 and 4... Individual channels have more like 10 - 15, but that's rare...

But if you have a ECPM of 0,25 there must be something wrong with your content/ad placement... my worst site has an ECPM of somewhere between 0,6 and 0,8...

What's the highest ECPM someone got after having at least 1000 pageviews?

    Hello dzcap,

Your eCPM depends on your content (amount paid per click by advertisers) and your CTR. For some of these publishers to maintain a high eCPM, they most likely have sites in a very competitive niche where clicks go for multiple dollars each instead of 5 to 10 cents each. Combine that with a good click through rate, and you have a good eCPM.

Well yeah, that pretty much sums it up. My CPC is very low, I am looking for other ways to convert the traffic, it's just a big waste right now.

    Try optimization tips from Google:
    https://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/static.py?page=tips.html
    and
    https://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/topic.py?topic=371

The eCPM depends upon the Advertisers and there products. (For example I have a webmaster/seo/google related blog and I'm getting about $10-$40 eCPM ads.)
