If your virus protection did not do anything. Try running a full scan using this......Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

Its a free download I bet it will wipe it out.

1.Copy your data to an external drive. Data only, no applications.
2.Format your system drive, reinstall your OS, run a virus scan on the external drive, if clean, copy data back to your main HDD.

You must re-install your system and after that without opening any local drive you should install antivirus firstly and then scan the system properly. And after that u can open any thing from your system.

1)I would Suggest you to First run an online Scan using Eset or Trend micro housecall
2)Then Disconnect the Internet and run malware bytes antimalware
3)Then Scan your System with Kaspersky (i prefer) or Bitdefender
4)After your system is clean from virus repair your OS - Dont format it (by repairing you wont loose your data)

    or

1)Backup your data into an external drive and then format your pc

Some tips: After you have reinstalled OS.First step is to install all the drivers and create backup of your C:\ using Acronis True Image Maker.this backup will help you when you face similar problems in future.Restoring acronis backup take just 2mins.so you don't have to waste time formatting Your PC

I would back up only the most vital files. i.e files that you couldn't live without (which should probably be < 200 MB) and then reformat the hard disk. I do this every few years to get a clean and lean system :)

I'd suggest installing and running malwarebytes. Works pretty well. :)
Also try running a scan with hijackthis and run the log through a hijackthis log analyzer, or have experts analyze it. Remove anything bad or harmful found in the scan.
