my computer mouse curse is slow and jerks

    Hi all,

    Suddenly my system booting time has slowed down, The mouse cursor is sometimes slow and jerks

    And sometimes, whenever i open a application the mouse simply hangs until the application gets opened,

    Please give me some ideas what could be wrong. I believe some people here might have experienced this thing,

    I use Norton AV,

    The mouse needs a good clean.
    I take its laser, could try putting white paper under it, works for me.

    yes, i did that first, But i am sure it is a software that disturbs and slows,
