My computer has gone crazy!!!! Help me!

    i scan my computer with panda antivitus, and i recomend it. panda 2005 is one of the best antivirus and it removes all the viruses and spywares!:D

    One thing I dont understand is I use firefox I never use IE but the pop ups occur I think when Im using firefox but it opens an IE window lol

    normally pop up caused by adware or spyware and that reside in you registry. some people recommend to direct removal from registry but too risk! ( only for advance user) for me i used Ad-Aware from Lavasoft. everything is work well plus free software

    It's more than likely a nasty little virus. I had the same thing going on with an older desktop. I hate to say that what I had to do was re-install and defrag everything on hard drive. Now she is running clean.

    I had a similar problem on one of my pc's not to long ago, I tried every spyware/adware/malware removal tool I could find (including all the ones listed so far in this thread). Eventually I came accross a tool called SmitFraudFix

    Yes that is spyware. Use a spyware removal tool and your PC should work fine. I would advise some tools but I see that most of the good ones have already been mentioned, so good luck. :D

    Hmm I have literally tried more then 6-7 different programs, disabled all the programs for IE and even went through my windows control panel and removed programs... yet its still happening I have no idea what to do.. Reformatting my computer is not really an option im not sure what to do..
