I'm working on a logo for a website and I'm noticing that the colors don't seem to "pop", if that makes any sense. I'm at a loss for how to fix the problem, I've tried using brightness & contrast, curves, duplicating layers and sometimes it will work and sometimes, ehh...not so much lol. can anyone help?

Try playing around with the filters to get great effects.

Maybe you're using the wrong color format? If you're designing for screen/websites, use RGB. If you're going for print, try the CMYK setting.

This can be changed from the Image/Mode menu. You should also check that you're using the proper color profile. I'm using the sRGB IEC61966 default.

If it's not a problem with one of those, a preview of the image would help!

I checked the format and it's in RGB and the color profile is sRGB IEC61966. Sometimes when I play with the filters or the curves it will make the text "pop", and then sometimes it won't. I'll try to find an image of what I'm trying to achieve as well for comparison. Here's a sample image below:

I think its the gray. Try replacing it with a strong shade along that color palette.

Thanks, I'll try it with a darker pink or black and see which one works best :)

Are you working with 1 solid color scheme? That can make a huge difference.

most of the time web colors seem flat because of course the color blends make a difference but most graphics have a little gloss added to them so they pop out apple's website is a good example of that
