Before i get too far into the upload, i could use some reviews. Thanks much, in advance. http://www.cokeclassic.net
that i designed the entire layout using none of their graphics. I designed my own using photos of collectibles, etc. that i have in my private collection. I'm pretty proud of it....ground up design and all.
I like the site. One bit of advice, since you're asking.... I'd get rid of the adsense referral button, and put a longer ad unit there instead. The button will generate little or nothing for you in terms of income. Your visitors aren't looking for ways to monetize their site- they are there to learn more about Coca Cola!
yeah I think its good, and yeah remove the referal button liek said above it loks out of place.. I dont tihnk you should ahve any trade mark problems becuase "coke" and cocacola" are different things.
Nice blending of the ads! I think the images are too large and taking attention away from the ads though.
Yeah, i have been working on the seeming problem, a refresh and she'll look good as new....i hope.lol.on my way to extricate a referral button....let's see what happens.....? (thanks ppl )
Great looking site, but it scrolls horizontally quite a bit at 1024x768 resolution in Firefox. Horizontal srcrolling is one of the top Web usability no-no's: http://www.useit.com/alertbox/20050711.html
Tried something different on content ad qv, HomePage.....now not quite sure what to do re. Left side.....hmm, waitaminnit....got an idea....
I think you can more articles. The ads blending is good, but i think the link ads is better if you place it at the top, so it's look like navigation & your readers can see it well.
I registered cokecollectibles one time and it took about two months for the first letter from their lawyers to arrive I did a little research and they have perhaps the broadest trademark protection of any business. I could be wrong, but I suspect any work you do on the site will be a waste of time.
Um, when you registered the address, were you a registered shareholder in the Coca-Cola company? We have had the site for over a year and attend shareholder meetings annually. Lawyers don't send bad letters to their employers. I understand your hesitation, but as you can well imagine....i've entertained this subject for hundreds before and all i can say is ... nothing. (kid'n) lol. Even if your scenario was a reality, the website would still look amazing in a portfolio of design work....i'll take the positive over the negative.
i think his trying to open it in a new tab...hehe just click the link... i agree with font...and i think your coke bottle needs a little chill we dont like drinking it not cold,hehe...
