My ClickBank Plan

    Hello,

I originally looked at promoting products in ClickBank awhile ago but ended up looking into other affiliate programs.

I am now back and I am wanting to get into affiliate marketing seriously, my target is to earn a min of $2k a month.

    I was looking for some advice on my below plan to see if its a good way of starting things;

    1) select 5 products
    2) write 5 articles per product
    3) The top 2 products (ie which ones have the most views) I will create a landing page for, continue doing articles for
    4) I will then repeat the above process

This in turn should result in a large number of landing pages for popular products

    Thank You for your comments

Major thing: Don't base the best products on how many views they get, because views simply don't matter, the clicks and purchases do. Do it by sales, and sales only......well at least not by views. There are many ways to slice the data....

I agree, if you have one product that has 10,000 Views and 1 sale versus another product that has 500 Views and 10 sales - which one is better? Obviously the second one because you have a 1/50 conversion.

It should definitely be sales first and foremost. However, if you do get one that has a lot of views but very little sales, try a pre-sell/landing page and tweak the heck out of it to see if you can change the conversion rate. If it doesn't improve, move on and concentrate on the products that do convert.

Sales = $$$ in your pocket. Views only help you determine if a product is good or not when compared to sales.

I'm taking a guess that you're pretty new to internet marketing?......no offense, I'm just trying to figure out how much experience you have. Cause that is going to be a Hard goal to reach with the methods you're planning to use. But anything is possible and I've seen people do it before so it can be done.

Another thing, you said you're going to wait to make lp's after you see which articles are getting most views. If you are planning on using Ezine's then you'll need a lander to begin with, you can't direct link with Ezine's. Unless you're going to do black hat method or install your affiliate url into a different domain. But it sounded like you might not have your own hosting.

The best way to make fast sales is to make a really SWEET landing page, blog or website and then send really well written articles to it using Ezines, article base and go articles. This way you can make sales from your traffic from the articles and every article written will be pushing your site to the front of the serps. There's many other good directories but they will bring in fast traffic and sales. IF YOU write your articles with SEO in mind, done your research and only send Highly targeted "money traffic" to your LP then you'll do ok.

You won't make much even if you were planning on direct linking unless you got some skills with ppc and even that's difficult because you gotta compete to be the one website that gets to direct link with that url.

Now there's a TON of other methods for traffic and seo that are good but I was only talking about the best and fastest way to make sales by "article marketing alone".

I hope that helps and good luck!

I think I m also in a similiar position like you, I have signed up to CB to promote but then left because I couldn't find good products there, I'm thinking to build a list of high sales and real good products and start promoting... We can do together of course...
