Thanks man this is inspiring... I'm on my 2nd month and have my site sitting on the 2nd page, it's killing me! The first ranked page has 800k thread views and has only been up for a few months. I'm hoping I can get my #1 spot.
Precise, if you're on the second page already, you should be on the first in no time. Quick update; last month was indeed my highest yet with just over $16k total Also, I've been talking to a good friend of mine (the guy who helped me get where I am today) and he thinks he'll be creating his own coaching program soon - if everything works out, I'll be covering the creative linkbuilding module as well as helping out on the forums... He is a member here (I think) but I'll leave him anonymous for now
As far as hurdles go, probably not seeing sales or much traffic for 2-3 months... It was literally like, I had 10-15 visits per day for the first few months and then suddenly boom, 100+ You have to give Google time to trust your site...
Exactly. All new sites go through this period and this is why many webmasters give up and sell their new sites. Constant link building with permanent quality links and lots of unique content added to your site will mean it won't be long until you see the results.
I personally love these posts. 1 months ago I was making 10$ a month now I learned a bit and making around 3$ a day which isn't as bad. I hope I will get to thousand a month one day
Wow nice one mate good to see some one in the Uk is doing well, you've with out a doubt thrashed my income
Hey dude, feel free to share what you learned, too! That's a good increase, why not let us know how you did it! Seriously I mean, we'll keep working towards the $14k/month long-term, OBVIOUSLY.
Rimki i have a question about article marketing.....how many articles should i post for only one product? Also should all the product reviews of different products be on only one blog which will have my affiliatelinks or one blog for each different product? What u suggest?
@sft_hrt: if you're just starting out, then 2 per product with different long-tail keywords... and yes I have all of my product reviews on the same blog. @shaggy, self hosted wordpress. update on me: signed up to PPC coach to learn ppc. (links in sig for anyone interested)
Thanks for the post. It seems amazing that it can be as simple as that. Granted it still requires hard work - providing useful content - but considering the rewards still pretty simple.
I agree completely about your niche competition statement. And HUGE thanks for posting in the first place, it gives all of us hope who are working everyday with as yet, small rewards. Okay 2 questions: You said: # I do not sell digital products (though that is what I tried to do for several frustrating months). I sell physical products. Does "digital products" mean clickbank type products? I haven't heard it phrased that way I guess. (please don't throw tomatoes at the noob, DP posters) And second, how can you tell when you looked at Grooveman's sites that they wouldn't convert well. They are attractive sites, seems like common straight to the point site ideas. Once again, much appreciation for your post and your patience in answering all the questions. Especially appreciate your saying it took 8 months because it gives us all hope to keep working (I know your research and learning has taken much longer than that)
