I'm looking in to this at the moment. I'm thinking I can ask for a donation after people receive their first CJ check... Not everybody would but it's better than me getting absolutely nothing in exchange for my time.
I don't claim to be earning as much as the OP here but since moving over to stores that pull RSS feeds, i've seen substantial growth. i see the main problem with "dresspack" is having the potential customer work too hard to get to what he is looking for. Took me a total of 5 clicks to only find out that there was nothing available for me in a category of my choosing. Get involved with Wordpress site stores and use vivid imagery to catch the customer's eye. Need any more advice give me a PM.
Lol.. if you can teach me how to make as much as you, I'd give you 70% of my earnings for one year, after I start making it big.
Just wanted to say this is a great thread, and well done. Far from bragging, you seem to have inspired many ambitious people and that has great value! Personally, I have just started with CJ on two sites, and with 9 clicks I'm get to see any returns...
I love seeing these kind of post just to show that amount of income is possible. May we see your blog pages please?
Thanks for the positive comments. As for the coaching I'm not sure whether I would actually have the time to document everything I do with my sites... But we will see... For people who really want to get started, I can recommend Jason Greens SiteSalary coaching program - it is very good for people new to affiliate marketing, and even I have picked up a few new techniques from him... I've made around $240 this month from his coaching - obviously not much compared to what I'm making using my own techniques, but he is a great teacher and all I did was follow exactly what he has told people to do - so yeah, I recommend his course. I also tried Wealthy Affiliate but do not feel it is very good... I may still create my own at some point, but with the little free time I have lately, I do not think it would be worth my investment unless people were paying a monthly fee.
WoW, your screenshot really turns me on... I think you can totally cover yourself with this kind of earning. Welldone, mate
I've also just decided I'm going to work on PPC for the next few weeks (I think - I change my mind a lot, hehe) so we'll see how that goes...
Stop it, now! You don't need to earn any more! Go out, leave the computer alone, and find some creative, sensible, sustainable ways of spending 14k a month!! (instead of on Adsense!!)
can you pm or post your 3 blogs? I dont know if you posted them already sorry if you did but i didnt see them.
Tell ya what bro. If you can give me some pointers to show me how to get my first sale I would be happy to give you a cut. I have another post going right now. I have several sites running CJ and over 157,000 impressions in around 45 days with 63 measly clicks and no sales yet.
Hi Grooveman, I took a look at your sites, and they really are not the type of site which converts - neither are the topics... Read through this whole thread as I've dropped tips throughout it (it's only 3 pages - not that long)
That was excellent advice up above in you prior post. A niche is never too competitive. Some people can spend way too much time finding a niche that appears to be wide open and then they are posting in the forums asking why they get such little traffic or tire kickers. It was not until I started testing out competitive niches that I started making some progress. Great tips!
Thanks for checking it out, CJ was actually an afterthought on a lot of my sites, something to fill the space basically and as an alternative to adsense. On the arcade and music download sites I have I know they typically do not convert well. I only started getting serious about CJ in the last couple of months. I am going to put some of your tips into action and see if I can turn this thing around.
