My wordpress blog categories have been disappeared by upgrading from wordpress 2.3.2 to wordpress 2.6 . I can't see the categories and blogroll widget on the blog . I can add new categories and the same ID is assigned to the categories as the old one but after refreshing the page the categories again disappears in the 'Manage categories' option .In 'manage categories ' option I see category to tag converter option . First and foremost, why didn't you upgrade to 2.5 after it was released man? Big Mistake! It is quite a rare and unique problem that you have, and I think you should open up a thread in wp forums. Lastly install the plugin after searching the following in google. 'Wordpress Categories ID PLUGIN for 2.6". I would have given you the link but it is impossible for me atm as I'm talkin from my phone lol
