I was wondering if you guys could give me some feedback regarding my business idea, I'm planing to make a community where people help each other for free. Especially business starters that need every dollar that they got, for example. I need some help with webdesign, and you need help with taxes etc etc. You know, "I dont have money, so I offer something I'm good at etc.." What do you think?
I want to give it a more, lets say a "community feeling". I was thinking now when the economy is bad, people may like the idea, you know helping each other without spending money.

At first I was thinking "communism", but there's a capitalist lining in every cloud . I've heard of some communities creating their own currency. They distribute vouchers, and then declare that each voucher is worth one hour of labor whether it be babysitting or web design. The economics of this can get rather interesting: search for "Monetary Theory and the Great Capitol Hill Baby-Sitting Co-op Crisis" for one example, or search for "alternative currencies" for the more general concepts.
