Hello! I have just recently (within the last few days) started two blogs. As you can see, I have alot of time on my hands Fundamentally, I'm interested in revenue; so what I should be focusing on right now is increasing traffic through quality content. Is that correct? Any design tips would be greatly appreciated... whatever little talent I have been blessed with has always been in the details but not the appearance Also... I have only made 3 cents so far. I've had 300 or so hits adsense reports tells me. http://thelastgosu.blogspot.com/ This is a starcraft blog... not much to say, although through the strategy guide (I'm pretty good at starcraft) hopefully I can generate alot of repeat visitors. http://childofreason.blogspot.com/ This is my politics blog. Basically I watch CNN and surf the net and write down what's happening, but I do have some bigger plans for it.
The Last Gozu: Loose the leaderboard ad unit. Because of your funky header it's the only content a visitor really sees - an instant turn off. Far better to put a skycraper unit in the sidebar. Also try and put some banner units between posts. Also try and remove the ad unit white frame and blend the ad text with the page content (hint: blue text in ad units looks naff). Child of Reason: Ad unit top right needs to be moved to further down sidebar and substitute with a skyscraper unit. Remove garish Firefox referral banner and use button on sidebar instead. Again try and place banner units between posts.
