I have blogger blog regarding adsense. It has a pr of 1.

There are certain things happening in it. Some weeks ago i saw my blog in the first position of google search results for some keywords.

But for the past 2 weeks i can never find my blog in google search results. I did not do anything different .

Again for the last 2 days it shows up in the first position of search results.

Why is this difference. Why is there no stability in google results. I have submitted some articles in ezine articles. Sometimes those pages ranks first and sometimes my blog ranks first.

There is fight between my ezine article and my blog . I have written the content in both. both have the same content. The only difference is ezine article link to my blog.

    My blog is http://free-adsense-toolkit.blogspot.com.

    keywords ranks

    download free adsense templates 1
    free adsense templates 3
    free adsense toolkit 1
    free adsense tools 2

    and many more..

I am happy my blogs ranks first. But this is not permanent.

What should i do to make it permanent.

please help me in this regard.

    this is really hurting me

It seems that Google internally returns a first set of results that is then re-ranked according to multipliers determined in testing just this set of results.

If your web site is not included in the first set of results then the re-ranking step cannot help you because no new results are added.

If your website is included in the first set of results then the re-ranking can either help you or hurt your rankings. If your web site fails one of the re-ranking tests, then your rankings scores (relevance score, trust score, website age score, etc.) might be lowered and your rankings will drop.

Such a new ranking method would explain the yo-yo effect that can be observed for some URLs: a web page goes from search result page one to the end of the results and comes back again. The same web site is always part of the first result set but re-ranked differently.

If my blog is affected with this problem, how can overcome it. I haven't heard about it. What you say is new for me. Can you get me more info on this?

You need to stop double posting your articles to two sites - it's duplicate content. Also: you need to get good, quality links to both sites, so they will rank more consistently instead of going up and down in the serps.

Blogs might initially be ranked high on keywords because google see's it as new content for its search engine for the keyword, but makes its way down fast.

i think you should be fine as google update its ranking quick frequently for a while and then stay persistently. the link from ezine will help google indentify the original source of this article and obviously your blog is the one.

It entirely depends upon the ranking effect of google. I think it happens in and out.

I would say yes to this reply.
