although the first was appealing, i liked the second because i was easily attracted to read it. the color scheme popped more and cuaght my attention. i also like the organization of that skin/template.
you can get some coupon to buy a domain for free. I got my free. Go to google.com and search for domain coupon. They have tons of them on the internet some just charge you $0.01 . good luck
If I really wanted to get a free .com, I could, but this is just a blog, so no real need for a domain.
The second theme is byfar the best. Although you could make some small changes like a more prominent seperation between the posts and a much smoother integration of the feedjit widget to the theme. It now looks a little choppy. Other than that, its good. Oh and about coming back, if the posts are good enough, I always add the feed from it to my list.
