    Hey, I have a wordpress blog installed on one of my domains. I have never advertised it or told anyone about the blog. However I have been having comments be added to my blog linking to another blog.

    On that blog the poster as written my post differnt, and then as added read more pointing to my blog. It is starting to do my head in now. The blogger must be stupid, because the subject I am blogging about is indeed something my community are creating.

    There fore it as no value to anyone else. What should I do about this? If I should do anything that is.

    It's called comment spam mate. Pretty common problem.

    Just install akismet and then mark his comments as spam. Simple as pie.

    If you are saying that he/she is copying your posts then ensure you have a clear copyright statement and then report the situation to his/her provider. If it is in copyright breach they'll pull it faster than a cat can lick its arse...

    you can set moderation... so you can monitor all the comments.. before accepting it..

    If there are just copying excerpts of your posts, it is legal under the law of US Copyright Act. These are splogs that create trackback spams. What you can do is to delete their trackbacks from your blog by marking it as spam to Akismet.

    If you wanted to fool around with them, read this blog post on a few plugins to fool with these scrapers.

    If they are copying the full version of your posts, it will be illegal.

    Not copy and pasting the comments. Posting them like "The webmaster of "Blog Name" as posted about "insert topic here" "my post written differnt and shorter" then for more read here "link to my blog".

    Thats what he/she is doing.

    I have installed the RSS Footer, and activated it. :)

    Can someone help me with the "Creative Commons" lisence website please, I want to create it so no one can copy, change, do anything to my work. I have selected no for both options, thats should be correct right?

    Also where on a wordpress blog would I add the code?
