Your questions have a lot of answers, and the above comments are only some of them. But here are some questions and points. Is your niche hot? If not, it's quite hard to make good money. Are your posts rich with the targeted keywords? If not, then you must. How are you promoting your blog? If you are more of a social blogger, then focus more on search engine traffic. Making money from Adsense takes a while, and I guess you read a lot of blog posts about Adsense. They will help you a lot. Good luck!
