My blog wont show?

    Hi,
    I am setting up a blog (wordpress) and downloaded a theme from freewpthemes.net.

    Anyway, I unzipped the file and uploaded all the content to my server, but the blog wont show, it just comes up with errors? Have I uploaded something wrong, or have I not uploaded something I should have?

    What is your blog url?
    And does it specific which error you got?
    Try to reupload the file

    Hi. I've managed to get WP to work, now how do I install the theme? At the moment it's the standard wordpress theme, but I want the theme I downloaded to work. How do I do it? Thanks.

    Say what? Sorry, this is the first time I've set up a theme on a blog so have no idea what I'm doing. How do you activate it?

    Go into the admin panel - http://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/ and login with the details you used. Then click "Design" - it will list all the templates you have uploaded. Select the one you uploaded and then press activate!

    All done :)

    Ah, I've just realised what I had done wrong: uploaded the theme to the wrong folder :eek: Thanks for all the advice: rep given to all.
