If that's a wordpress blog, one good way of making sure it is secure is to keep the wp and plugin versions up to date. That will help prevent attacks in the future.

 

keep your blog update at correct time and use ur ftp password strong

 

A good way to secure a wp blog is getting rid of wp blog and transferring data into own database and core.
