It is a nice design . The height of the header is a bit too high .

 

Its looks like a professional site....You can include privacy policy......

Thanks guys. I drew the mascot myself, granted its not the best penguin ever, but it is different I guess

Any comments on the writing style, or the content maybe ?

Not bad. Simple and clean design with nice use of colors. In terms of writing style, I can understand that you are trying to establish contact with the readers with use of more personal tones which is a good thing

 

Looks pretty good and I think you can take advantage of that blank sidebar on the left and put some Google ads!

 

I think the blog looks good the layout and design is nice and clean.

 

I think the url is the catchiest part
