    ok.
    Find this
    <div class="entrybody">
                <?php the_content(__('Read more &raquo;'));?>
            </div> <!-- [entrybody] -->
    Code (markup):
    and change it to this
    <div class="entrybody">
                <?php the_excerpt(__('Read more &raquo;'));?>
            </div> <!-- [entrybody] -->
    Code (markup):
    That should work, make a copy of the original file before, just incase :) But i had that issue, but the other way around, it was showing the excerpt, and I wanted full post

    Get excerpt plugin from wordpress website, there are several good ones. Good Luck with your search.

    Hi there,

    Have you also type <!--more--> in "HTML" tab? this will display the read more link.

    As pointed by KimiGermany - This probably what's cause your problem. I can almost sure all released themes are covering the more function. So it's not your theme file.
    It's the way you write the post, that's needed a little bit of a change on its flow. Here's what you need to do:

    1. Write your content as usual.
    2. Choose the part where you'd want your post being cut and replaced by the more link/button. Place your cursor there.
    3. Hit the more button. (a button above your post editor that named : More)
    4. Update/Save your post.

    .. your post should now have a read more.

    Nice catch KimiGermany. Well played. ;-)
