I put in a request to have them view my blog, but i don't see a email address where i can explain my situation. If there is a problem with my blog, id like to be able to make the changes necessary so that it's not considered spam. Right now you can view my blog, but i can't make any changes on my dashboard. They have it locked for now. Do you consider my blog as spam? My blog is http://live-television-online.blogspot.com Do you think im linking back to my site to many times within my articles? My last post i linked back to my site 4 times in the article.
The fact that you used tags repeatedly is not the problem, but what the problem is that you used tags saying the same thing repeatedly. If they were keywords, maybe it wouldn't matter as much, but they are tags (or categories not sure but certainly either of the two ) and saying the same thing in two ways made you appear as a spam. Yes, it looks like your blog is a splog rather. You should have effectively used the more tag at least. Change them all now and ask for reconsideration.
I couldn't find there email address. I see the help group information, but not there email address. Im looking for it right now. I just deleted 2 of my post that looked to similair.
My dashboard is locked, so any changes that i make to my tags, that post will disappear from the live blog and appear as a draft. They will allow me to make the change, but you can't re-submit your post because it's locked. Should i just make the necessary changes anyway to my tags, even though some of my post will disappear from my live blog? The post will be in draft status until they unlock everything.
Call a fish a fish. Your blog was created purposely for getting people to click on the online TV links. Every article is about how to watch TV online and all of the links go to the same site selling an online TV solution. Blogger saw this and didn't like it. Other webmasters can sugar coat and baby you by telling you to change tags, but the truth is you created a spam blog and got caught. Move on. Create more, but this time don't be so obvious.
That's one of the dangers of using a free blogging service like Blogger. Why not find a free host (look in Freebies forum) and run a self-install of WordPress? Then you can fill your site up with all the spam links you want.
Your blog is not that bad, but perhaps someone reported it. Or maybe Blogger is getting more strict. I am working at unlocking about 300 blogs at the moment. One I get past the CAPCHA gamut I reach the dashboard and there is an option to request that the blog be reviewed/unlocked. I have to enter yet another CAPCHA and then the request is sent. When I check back in 1-3 days the lock is removed and I can use the blog again. You can also contact support at blogger.com directly and that might also work. I would not say you have a great blog, but it's so very much better than most of the splogs out there. Still, try to make some posts that don't have links, or link to other related TV sites. Consider getting some cheap hosting someplace like Lacehost.com and change your blogger account so that your blogger blog has it's own domain and hosting. I think Blogger is less critical of spam blogs that pay for their own hosting and domain, and I think you will find the search engine results are better also. Hosting your own blog also allows you to NOT have the toolbar showing that has the "Flag Blog" button that some people may use against you. And don't ever create 300 blogs at one time. Chances are good they will be marked as spam and you will spend weeks getting them unlocked... :-(
