My blog is new with few posts should i not do Directory Submission?

    Will directory submission for a new blog be waste of time.Is it so that new blogs are not accepted by directories.What should i do should i wait till i have good no of posts.

    Plz Suggest.

    Some of the better blog directories will require some "seasoning" to make sure the blog is an ongoing enterprise instead of a flash in the pan. For those you'll need about 6 months (minimum) of continuous posting history. Cant speak for the others, but I suggest you trust your instinct that suggests waiting until you get a good post history.

    at this stage, IMO you should create a better content first and then consider the directory submission. ;)

    You haven’t shown your blog to us, anyways you are new in blogging I guess? Content matters most in a field of blogging. Firstly I say increase your post, remember content should be useful and of course good one then go for directories submission not now I suggest.

    Submitting to directories is not really mandatory !

    For general directories you may have an easier time, i would get 8 - 10 posts up before submitting to the free general directories.

    For blog directories you may need to give it a while before you submit to them, depends on their guidelines i guess.

    Wait a little bit more good posts on and then begin it with 30 good backlinks ( not all 30 the same day!) :)

    Yes a blog is different from other sites as it should be a log or diary and so will not really have much content for several months. Write unique content pertaining to the niche of your blog regularly and submit it in a few months. Avoid being a 'blog about everything i'm interested in and more' because that doesn't really work.

    I started my blog 3 weeks ago and im doing just fine with building back links with directories.
