This is the problem with blogger and all the other "free" blog sites , you dont own the URL they do so its their rules ..And if you even stick a toe over the line they will pull your site. I suggest you buy your own url , pay for hosting and write what you like.

I'm really sorry to hear this and I can identify with you. Last week my blog was also deleted as spam. I had over 340 posts, a page rank of 4, and over 1000 backlinks. To say I was devastated is putting it mildly. It seems Blogger is going after affiliate-type and money making blogs lately.

I'm sorry to say that the chances of having it restored are low. I went through all of the stages and they came back and said that it had been reviewed and was deemed a spam blog and it would not be restored. They would not even tell me why it was considered spam. I was told later at another forum that it's against the Blogger TOS to have Clickbank hop links in your blog posts or to write posts aimed solely to get visitors to click affiliate links.

Also, I had a couple of my posts submitted to Yahoo Buzz that were connected to affiliate links and apparently that is a no-no in the eyes of Blogger as well. the worst part of it was that blog was my main source of online income. Between Clickbank, Adsense, and my own rbooks I was making $200-$500 per month from it on average.

The only advice I can give you is to start a self-hosted Wordpress blog. You'll have to shell out about $5 or $10 a month, but in the long run it will be worth the peace of mind to know that it won't be yanked out from under you. Best of luck to you.

How, exactly, is that spam? What is your definition of spam? It seems like everything to make money online is somehow spam nowadays.

Sorry if you don't agree with my accessment, we don't have to agree. I find these sites to be a waste of time especially when they pop up in searches. Sometimes the first 10 sites are just affiliate link and MFA sites and the "information" written is only designed to get good placement and usually is useless to someone researching the item in question.

Some do better than others at offering quality information on their sites with affiliate links or adsense, but usually those will invest in a domain name as well.

I think that's true. I had my blog reviewed, and was still denied. when I inquired as to why they considered it spam, they said that one of the reasons was that there were too many affiliate links (Clickbank hoplinks is just about all I had). In hindsight, maybe I should have used a cloaker or found some other way to hide them.

My question is how are you supposed to promote Clickbank products if you can't put hoplinks in your blog posts? It just seems like evrthing is condsidered spam nowadays. Can't anyone make a buck anymore?
