I host a blog that is on celebrity so the CPM is fairly low and I can live with that but on one of my blogs (the oldest and the largest that I have) the CTR is just 1.86 and with 5000 odd impresions I was able to make around $4 in whole month last month. Compare that to another celeb blog of mine which had $45 from 15000 impresions. The CTR of that Celeb blog is low because of the Ad Placement and its colors. Just change the colors and place the ads to the right. Assume that you are a visitor and will you click the ads if you cannot see them properly?
I clicked on one of your ads Though I was interested in one of the ads there, I wouldn't normally click on ads in that central position in a blog. It's too intrusive.
