my blending technique - Making Ads looks like something else

Photoshop dont let me put dropshadow on a transparent gif.

In case anybody wonders:

Google says about this design:

"Thanks for your email. Your current implementation on *******.com
is in compliance with our program policies."

 

From what I read it looks like someone is in compliance...lol

 

nice idea, what CTR you get with it though?

 

You don't have to ask them on the first place, it is just a background image lol .
You can use dropshadow on transparent images, so how I did it ~_^

 

I prefer to ask if I am the slightest in doubt, I have asked them before where i thought I was in compliance, but it turned out that I was not, so better safe than sorry

I am shure you can use dropshadow on transparent images, but how do you do it? I dont expect a tutorial, but could you point me in the right direction.

I believe this would be against the TOS because it mau bring attention to the ads. Also, it would be better to give tips of this nature after confirming with Google that everything is per the TOS.

 

Maybe thilak was talking to the people who kept asking about CTR? I am pretty sure it is against the TOS to share your CTR am I wrong?

That is pretty sexy. I don't know if it will hurt or help CTR, but it definitely looks good.

 

Yep, no one was clicking there, Now people started to click, I will try other ad styles on my other sites ...
I sow someone who make adsense ads float and you say this is against TOS lol.

 

This is the type of thing that I would stick up and if google has a problem with it, they'll let me know. They have done that in the past with other issues that were 'more sticky' than this one.
