Having been discussing how much you could earn on Amazon as an associate, I thought I would just post here a screenshot of one of my sales for one month only. I must say that this is still my highest cheque so far. Due to work and other commitments, I've not been able to spend as much time promoting products. The reason that amount is that much is because I was at home nursing a bad leg and didn't go to work. So, my little time at home was properly put to good use <sarcasm> I guess I should be getting more broken legs or hands so that I can spend more time at home </sarcasm> That said, I still average around $300 - $400 every month. So my advice is to promote little products that you know your readers are more likely to buy on impulse without worrying about the cost. I promise you those little products can quickly add up and so will your earnings. Hope this is enough to motivate some of you.
Wow! nice work. Those are some big numbers. I only just started with amazon so for me, I am aiming for $1-200 this month in commission.
Nice work! I have recently started using Amazon as well. I'm using little products, but they may have high demand and highly related to my website. I hope that it turns out well.
Congrats. I ve earned around $100 per 100 items. But since most of my sales are small camera accessories I don't get much. Finally I reached my first $100 this month from Amazon. Helen, Do you use paid traffic ?
That's really impressive. Too bad about the broken leg though--at least you come out of it with a valuable skill. I'm curious, can you give any details about the traffic you're getting to the page?
To answer everyone's question here: I have a network of blogs and each is targeted at different product niche. I don't use paid traffic as such but rely heavily on paid blog post and guest posting to help drive traffic. Another source of traffic is blog and forum comments which helps a great deal believe it or not. The second source of traffic is through Twitter as I've discussed somewhere on this forum. As a developer, I've managed to code some script that helps to periodically post my affiliate links on Twitter. The good thing about this for me is that I have different accounts and each has thousands of followers, so on average I have hundreds of click-throughs every day. This ofcourse is automated so I don't have to lift a finger. In fact, the script is still rough around the edges - so once I've found time to tidy things up I might post it so others can not only learn from it, but modify it to fit their own needs. Again, my advice is to spend time and research a small be profitable niche and try to dominate it before anyone else does. Good luck
Nice. You have good earning from amazon. I have also placed some products banners on my some blogs, but till today, i am not able to sell a single product. And i am promoting products related to my blog niche.
nice earnings. i''m also trying amazon associates - haven't earn that much though since the ads displayed are somehow not related.
it is unbelievable,so many you have earned by amazon, how?I want to do it,but seems too difficult for me.
Another inspiration post, at least some one make it happen so there is no obstruction that we can not make it too .. thanks Helen! .. Before I end my reply I just want to leave a good trick I use to find bestseller product on Amazon with some filters. just heading to google.com then enter "bestsellers in"+"price: $400..20000000"+"200..9999999999 Customer Reviews" site:amazon.com what the code does is it will find the bestseller products with price above $400 and customer review more than 200 people. Have a nice weekend, Santacruz
