I was just thinking about how to manipulate Google's voucher program & adsense. What if you had a $300 Google AdWords voucher, paid for a placement on your own site for $100 per click, someone LEGIT (a real visitor) click your ads. You would get at least $80 right? Would this work?

 

idea is good but how long can you play with google?

How would this be breaching the TOS if

- The people doing this weren't me. It was actual people & businesses seeking advertisement but using a voucher. (Google would like because it would add another ADVERTISER to their list, and a credit card would also have to be supplied by the business)

I never said I would be doing this, but I don't see how it would be breaking the TOS. I am raking in from Adsense with a popular teen forum, I just wonder if this would work.

 

Duncan21, this is a really twisted idea, GJ on coming up with this but you can't make any steady income with it. Maybe add a few extra bucks into your adsense account from google's budget but you can't pull this off continuesly.

You can't guarantee that your ad will show up because it is random, and I doubt that this will work because Google knows better. I suggest not to try anything hasty because a Google Adsense account is a valuable achievement for web owners and you only allowed one.

 

But with the new setup you can select placements on the Google Content Network.

 

Don't you think Google could easily find out you're placing ads on your own site?
It's a good way to get banned...and loose your own money.

 

If you can obtain codes (which I have various "LEGAL" methods of obtaining that do not break ANY TOS (does not involve trading the codes to other parties or reselling)), can get your friends, family, co-workers to sign up for the account using the method I described about in the parenthesis above, then there are no issues.

As stated above, I would not have to do this myself. I could coach others that I know in real life about advertising on the Google network and how profitable it could be, and encourage them to advertise on my site (and tell them how to get the vouchers legally) and they pay $100 per click for 3 clicks.

I wouldn't have to. I own a forum that gets 10,000 impressions per day and around 30-40 clicks. They would take care of this for me.

I see no legal problems in your concept, but then again I have not read google's TOSes thoroughly.
BTW, bidding at a $100/click rate sure is suspicious, but you can try to convince google's managers that 'you desperately want to advertise in that website' .

 

I suggest tying your idea and telling us what happens.

 

I might actually get my friend to test out the whole theory that way it doesn't involve me at all!
