My biddig directory is going good?

Hi,
I've got a bidding directory LinkWide. It has a custom design, with 1,563 backlinks and Alexa rank of 781,819 and PR4 predicted. I'm doing manual directory submissions in every directory which is announced in here and bought some links and blog posts for it also which are PR5+. And I need some help of you all. I want to know if I'm in the correct way or no. I need some suggestions for it, because I think my directory is going well but my same old questions revenue is $0.

Well depends on how you are promoting, but still have to say... backlinks are too less.

 

My advice to you is NOT to start with a minimum bid of $5.00.

 

How many people know about your directory ? - sorry, I dont know.
This is what makes the sense..

Also check on kind of backlinks you are developing and how are you doing at google for bidding directory keywords eg: Bidding Web Directory

 

Blogmaster thanks for the advice i'm using phplinkbid version 1.0 and to change the min. and max bids i've updated to v1.2 but still I cant make any change from the admin panel.

See, your own signature doesn't carry link to your bidding directory...

First step, at least have your directory appear in your signature

I just noticed I have 15,096 and wasn't even aware of it.

 

released free templates or themes would be a good idea. Like my directory www.ventedoy.com, already have more than 40,000 backlinks thanks to only 1 wordpress theme that I'd released.

One more thing, people prefer to submit to a categorize directory than alphabet

 

Its same for every directory :

Get lots of featured links on top directories
Get highest bids on Bidding directories
Buy lots of text/banner ads on seo/webmaster/directory sites
Buy signatures/avatars etc..

I dont think these things are new.. everybody does the same.

I agree too. I saw a lot of the bidding directories start from $1 only.

 

One of my bidding directories ( www.bidfortop.com ) has a predicated PR of 6 with about 5500 backlinks. It would be nice if that is what it gets....

My other one predicated PR 5 ( www.ifusenet.com ) with about 1500 backlinks.

 

Yes, have a lower starting bid. Buy some signature space or use your own.

alang which theme is that? And how long ago did you sponsor the theme. I sponsored my first theme and am eager to know how long it might be till I see some results.

If you dont know how to promote then you are in trouble

 

I hadn't checked yet this week until now. I guess mine is about 964,000. I do know the Alexa is around 24,500, though.

Try to promote a variety of different ways. Don't concentrate only on PR. Work for traffic too. I think that is very important for a bid directory. Good luck.

 

Mine is not doing too bad, I guess. 5,959 links and Alexa is 214,567.

 

yea,some may disagree,but Traffic should be a main goal,then the PR will come afterwards..my site has about 1300 links so far,but is predicted pr5,although i dont put much stock in prediction sites
