    Giving affiliate links is not allowed on DP, unless they are in your SIG. But you are not allowed to say "please check the link in my SIG and register". It might be the reason why he got banned.

    Yep, me too. How to create a real 5,000 people opt-in email list? SPAM should definitely not exist... I had to drop my main email address because of spammers...

    How to say... I DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR VIAGRA AND FAKE ROLLEX WATCHES GUYS !!! :mad:

    The legality is not how you send the emails, but rather how you've gathered the email addresses.

    9 million email addresses smells like spam to me, unless they were all (double) opt-in.

    I agree with previous post, 9 millions can not be anything else but SPAM. Or "so-called" opt-in emails gathered in a very obscure way...

    A lead is anyone who opt'ed in at some point (hopefully) for some sort of mailing list. You can get leads from companies like SalesGenie, Leadpoint, etc. Technically, these are the people you can 'legally' email advertisements so long as they opt'ed in for that sort of advertisement at some point. I think that's right...
