    If a link is not a permanent link, then any concept from above is invalid. Look how long it takes for Google to put that link into Webmaster Tools. Yes, you may get links, but they have no value as for SEO.

    If a link is not going to be there in 6 months, then don’t waste you time.

    Spend your time on creating content.

    Do you know in this way you are adding importance to that classified site. As like you when many of the user will chose the same keyword in the same category then a day will come when that classified site will remain on top for that keyword and above all of you as it will have niche, relevant and unique content for that keyword.

    Believe me traffic driving is a good idea but with this you will never beat that classified site in Google SERP. So if you want traffic then it's ok but if you are concern about rank then it is a worst idea.

    One thing more in classified you are allowing your visitor to chose your competitor but in Google SERP one the visitor enters you site it is all yours. So conversion chance in Google SERP ranking is higher that from classified.

    How do you build links in craigslist without getting banned? They are pretty strict. They don't have signature in their posts, so your link has to be inside the posts.
