I am so happy today. Woke up, checked my stats and found I made $7.22 today ... 29 clicks over 3K impressions. A good start since my blogger blog is barely 2 weeks old. Been going crazy bookmarking, pinging, backlinking, Yahoo Answers, Google grps, Digg This, techorati, search engine submissions, blogcataloging, icq, irc, and shameless mail spamming and all...... finally the traffic is in and people are clicking. Hope to hit $10 a day this week. Thank goodness I picked on a good keyword TK
Thing is (with respect) that some blogs do well within the first few weeks and then fade to nothing. My friend's bird watching blog for example. Perhaps you should wait a few months before gloating - always wonder why people post these sort of things anyway - a bit like ner ner ner ner ner in the playground
LOL i plan to keep my blog a secret. but my niche is on student loans and my target is US market. I am setting up 4 more blogs on other HPKs on niche topics like loans, mortgages and insurance. I spend over 12 hrs a day but the effort will pay off , I hope.
LOL..... u do not even know what I am doing and how I am doing it. To get a few bucks a day in 2 weeks may be easy for some, but it takes effort. And having said that, if u dun update and drive traffic daily, then of course the earnings will fade. Look, if u dun like it, u dun have to respond on this thread. Many ppl here are trying to make some cash out of adsense. ner ner ner back to u too.
Congrats friend, what type of blog, do you have? Also 3k impressions, means you must have lots of backlinks and traffic.
I find it amusing that people making a couple bucks a day are being condescending. You know what? I actually make over $1,000 a day, and SOME OF MY BLOGS ARE ONLY TWO WEEKS OLD AND MAKING NOTHING!! Relax. The man has a point. Let the serps set. 3K visits is great, but obviously it's non-converting traffic at 29 clicks. You're targeting hugely competitive niches where big players are spending thousands a day to keep guys like you out of the game. It's going to be tough. Real tough - but I wish you all the luck in the long run. ;-)
