    It is called Banner Ads

"Banner ads are based on a CPM (cost per 1,000 impressions) model. You set the maximum price you are willing to pay and the system will charge you the minimum amount needed to show your ad. For example, if someone is bidding $1.00 for 1,000 impressions and you bid $3.00 for 1,000 impressions, you would only be charged $1.01 since that is the lowest cost to still bid higher than the next highest bidder."

I bought banner ads not text ads

If you do not upload a banner image in the appropriate sizes, it will fall back to formatting it as a text-based banner. Double check that you uploaded the banner image(s).

    Yes I did upload a banner at following size 728px × 90px
and when I check the sub-forums that I was targeting my banner, I saw it is showing a text-base ads at top of page, Instead of my 728x90 px banner

Make sure you upload all 3 possible sizes that the site uses.
