actually you can build small blogs and give links on contents to main website which makes good back links. you can post their links to different social book marking websites, and blogging communities sites like blogcatalog, digg, facebook, twitter etc.
I think you should read a lot of articles and blogs to find a way out, like I do incase of ant problem. In such cases I read nexuslab.com blogs, so I advice u do the same.
you can post your links on different small blogs and those blogs are posted on forums then your backlinks increased
Using " Link " command, you can see only limited number of back links. Google will not show all the links. you can see all the links in Yahoo site explorer and Google Webmaster tools.
of course i'm agree with you. So you have to use same keywords and get links on that keyword. Google thinks that that is valuable for search one. Keep in mind use always your focus keyword with some other keyword while commenting and link exchanging. have best of Luck.

Now i see that your website has a 3 link in google search engines and 565 in yahoo search engines which are decreasing. You have to get backlinks from high pr sites and quality backlinks from offpage optimization work. Keep it up.
Google rarely updates the number of backlinks your site have. I will be updated once there's a Page Rank update.
If your site's page rank not increasing, there are lot of way to get high pr but i suggest you to submit in buzzle
Your links may be nofollow so google will not count them. Or. the page the links are on have not been indexed yet, or not recrawled sine your link was added.
OP didn't confirmed once whether he is using link: operator or webmaster's tool. Link: operator has stopped working long back, Webmaster tool will show links gradually and not sudden, if you have backlinks in Yahoo and not in Google it may be because yahoo counts nofollow links also wheare as google doesn't count Nofollow links, though I have seen some of nofollow links in my google webmaster's tool, I am not sure whether they are good enough or not. Tip:Just ping your link URL using pingomatic alternate days, they will show up
Agreed. I have webmaster tools and it's not entirely accurate. However, it does give you an idea of rankings, keyword click through's and what not. It's actually some pretty great info.
