Since I had a request I have put up the blogger template I use on my website for download. It's the first one I've really had a go at so I'm sure it's got faults. Please be kind. Anyway, if nothing else, it should give people a basis from which they can build something better. Here's the link: http://www.swollenpickles.com/2006/10/23/free-swollen-pickles-adsensitized-blogger-template/
http://www.swollenpickles.com/2006/10/23/free-swollen-pickles-adsensitized-blogger-template/ this is what I was looking at. You have a darked orange border... google_color_border = "ffe928"; can you turn it to be the same as the yellow background or the backgroung of the AS block so I can take a look
Sorry mate, think we are confusing one another. This site here is the one that is the demo for the template: http://one-dollar-challenge.blogspot.com/ This link is where you can download the blogger template: http://www.swollenpickles.com/2006/10/23/free-swollen-pickles-adsensitized-blogger-template/
That's my actual site. The template is the one on: http://one-dollar-challenge.blogspot.com In terms of the www.swollenpickles.com site, I only changed the main adsense block 48 hours ago so that it had that border etc. as an experiment. I would have thought blending was better too. The strange thing is, since adding the border and altering the colours (previously it was blended), the CTR for that block has gone up 150%.
Everyone swears by blending in ads, however, I've had a lot of success by unblending some of my ads and placing them in strategic locations.
