My article published without Backlinks

    Hi,

My article has been published without a backlink in an article directory. What is best way to resolve this.

I have seen many articles on reprint-content.com without backlink to the author. The author name is published but that's all. There are no resource box (About the author), no backlinks.

If you have articles at reprint-content.com, then check if you have a backlink... That sucks!

Write an email to the article directory and complain.

Yes, I also would send a mail to the owner of the article directory website claiming either to remove your article or to add the copyright information as you require.

If they don't reply within one week or so, I would first try to send a written letter and then consulting a lawyer to discuss further steps.

If the article directory owner does not respond in a few days, find out his upstream provider by visiting:

    domaintools.com/THEDOMAIN.COM

Replace THEDOMAIN.COM with the article directories domain. The search result will let you know the IP the site is hosted on, and clicking on the IP Address will give you his upstream providers contact information.

Once you know the upstream provider, send them a DMCA Notice.

For more information on DMCA Laws, and for DMCA Templates, go here:
    mcanerin.com/EN/articles/copyright-03.asp

The ISP DMCA template would be a good choice, just edit it to fit your needs, and send it to the upstream provider.

If it's hosted in the US, I am willing to bet the content comes down VERY quickly.

Did you submit article ? If you did it yourself, just log in and delete the article. That's it.

I've usually found that the offending article directory adds my links when I request (whine for) it...

Also, er, I have accidentally forgotten to include backlinks before I'm sure...

Agree... Also now some of the article directories are adding nofollow to the link, which is not correct at all - modifying your "about the author" part, but thats it. No sense to waste time to contact them or delete articles, better use that time to submit to more directories...
