    hi AffiliateEsprit7 ... a couple of other tips ...

consider setting up your own blog or squidoo lenses and writing some articles there ... google will only show 2 results from ezine in the first 100 or so search results ... actually, similar with squidoo and such ... if you set up your own blog you may have more chance of getting in the results ...

re resource box ... use that as the end of you article ... e.g.

    instead of going :
"and that's everything you need to know about computers. #resource box# To buy a computer go here"

    try something like this :
"computers can even be used to send email. #resource box# Computers have really changed our world and are used for everyday items. To buy a computer go here"

really basic example but yeah, i hope you see what i've done ... you are keeping the reader reading :D

but it is very difficult to rank for even moderatly competetive keywords. at least ezines have built in pagerank. i think for the long run it would be a good idea (timeframe 6-12 months). but if you want to make sales NOW, its better just to keep writing and submitting to ezine!

    what do you think?

Article marketing has been pretty much useless lately. It's only a long-term approach if for any good at all. I do not intend to dissapoint anyone but I've submitted over 200 articles in the past month (won't disclose the niche) but it's a high competitive/profitable) without any great results, around 12 sales.

Article marketing can have a nice impact on your site, but most people do it wrong. Most don't use EZArticles like they should, but a few do (and they kill it). Then, even if they do, their LP sucks and don't convert. If you really know your stuff you'll be able to connect the two and really start to turn the money over.

Article marketing still works okay for me - I have less than 100 articles in my EZA account (all submitted last year) and I've made about $2200 this month so far just from those articles. I promote a range of niches but over 50% of my income comes from just one niche.

i'd focus more on using the articles for link juice rather then to expect making sales out of them.

You just posted your problem. you won't tackle a highly competitive niche by articles alone, if at all.
Article marketing works just fine once you fine tune your methods.
It's not as easy as just writing an article and submitting. That IS dead.

Try linking to your original article in subsequent rewrite submissions to give it a little more authority, and bookmarking them as well.

What do you mean? Submittting them to multiple directories?

Most article sites let you put in at least two links. Point one of them to the original article.

I love how some one who cannot sustain a profitable article marketing campaign, comes to my services thread and tells me my rates are too high.

People aren't going to buy from some one who cant write (or hires writers that cant write). I edited a few mistakes in your original quote above. If you take care in your grammar, more people will buy from you ;)
