Hi Guys, I know this has been done before but I thought I would document my article marketing journey. I have one website which earns me $25/day average and gets around 100 visitors a day. My goal is to get an additional 100 visitors/day and double my earnings. I thought I would keep this diary to hopefully provide insights to fellow DP members and more importantly so you can keep me on track. My biggest issue is battling monotany and maintaining a good work ethic. I can write while at work and generally work 5 days a week. I think in one sitting I can write a maximum of 5 articles. So I should be aiming for 25 articles a week. My articles are written specifically for Ezine articles which I already have a platinum account. I will update on the stats as they come in and let you know what works and what doesn't.
Day 1 So after the first day I have written and submitted 5 articles to ezine. I should also mention the articles are about finance. One Tip: I am writing for the most popular keywords as opposed to less competitive keyphrases. The less competitive keyphrases are used on my site directly to target and I would just be competing against myself. The more common the keyphrase the more time people search it in ezines well at least that is the idea.

Day 2 Suprised to see that my articles have already been accepted in less than 24 hours on Ezine. Will be writing more articles tommorrow whilst at work.

Wow excellent stats; I once tried article marketing but it was so much work and I did not make a lot of money from it. I will be keeping an eye on this thread to keep up with your progress.

Day 3 Well I think i will include my stats today and keep them updated whenever possible. I managed to write 4 articles today, as I am tired and my brain has no more energy. Of course I could write another 2-3 articles but it would be totally pontless as the articles would be as interesting as watching paint dry. Stats Articles Pending: 4 Articles Published: 5 Article Views: 52 URL Clicks: 2 Articles Re-Published: 0 Early views are generally not relevant to your article so the low click thru rate does not concern me ....yet
Mostly from adsense but there are some affiliate sales, and leads that make up the difference as well. I think the click-thru rate is so high because of the quality of traffic I get. Hence why I am trying to increase my article marketing efforts . Anyway beter get back to work.
That's pretty interesting. I'm an article writer, but I never really got into the actual article marketing side of it. I'm looking forward to reading about your progress
Day 4 I was busy at work today so only managed 3 articles. Stats Articles Pending: 4 Articles Published: 8 Article Views: 77 URL Clicks: 2 Articles Re-Published: 0
Wierd question, but in terms of the website yes all income is from the internet. I have another real life job as well if that is what you are asking
