My alexa rank - Its amazing!!

my site was 200k last week now its 150k this week, alexa is not known to be accurate

 

mine was 23 million , i week after 4.6 million ..

 

Me and my partner are launching a new project in the near future. We are planning to
place our site inside the 25k range from the launch. And from there we wanna reach top 1k in under
2 years. But offcourse preferrably in 1 year but we will manage it.

Alexa Is a huge waste of time. If you get a toolbar yourself and go to your site everyday you should be lower than 500,000. I believe only if a site is 50,000 or better can you say it is truly as great site.

 

i started the site and in 45 days i was 38k-pr5-over 60kbacklinks the key social media

 

My blogspot blog jump from number 1.million something to 365k

 

there is no importance for alexa rank in webmaster field,congrats for that ,try to send more traffic and you will observe that your site alexa rank will be decreased

Yep same here. I have seen some of clients use a so called "alexa rank booster" which generates tons of fake proxy traffic to their website thus increasing their rank.

 

And mine went from 22000000 to 600000 in 2 months - Don't worry,,,alexa rank keep changing and getting better as long as u have traffics.

 

It's still an improvement, keep the great job up and you will end up in xxx xxx and maybe xx xxx who knows.

 

For me, alexa doesn't play a vital role for my site. itss the reason why I don't worry much on it. Anyway, congrats to your site... My rank change from 300k to 150k.

 

Tough I am new here, but I am not boasting...I had started my site just 4 months ago and for me its a big achievement.
My next goal is to get in top 500,000

 

I got mine down to 41,845 in 1 year, Congrats on your rank, keep working on it and it will go down even further.

Once it hits around 60k its kinda hard to go down, but if you put in the effort it will come down.

Ah!! I was expecting the question.
Well frankly I did not pay much attention to my site and its rankings till yesterday (I checked my rank yesterday)!!

I submitted the url to some 100 directories. I promoted it mainly to my friends and they promoted it to their friends.

 

You are totally correct.

 

Alexa may not quite accurate but if you wish to make money from your website, it may help you because there were plenty program required good Alexa Rank.
