Zelune.net: About exactly in the top 100,000 WordHugger.com: 300,000 since its new, but its daily/weekly is in the top 30,000.
44,233 after 18 months Alexa has a big purpose in the advertising world. If you claim your site gets 100,000 UV/month, but your rank is under 50,000...people will think your lying. Its also fun to brag about to fellow webmasters, lol.
It seems like you all think in small numbers... I have over 2000 sites below 400,000... And another 500 below 100,000... And a few in the 20K to 40K range... Stop working on one website and think bigger.
Alexa rankings are next to worthless. Very easy to manipulate unless you are below 10,000. The lower the more reliable.
That's because most people are clueless. For instance, how many of them know that Google created the page rank solely to keep idiots busy? Not so many at all.
when was the last time Alexa was updated? I seem to have been stuck at the same number for at least 6 months (1.4 million)
I have a few successful sites and I have never checked to see what their Alexa rating is. For me, it is useless.
