PPC so far, is the best method for me for getting traffic and making sales. I am used to Adwords, and don't want to change it. I tried YSM and Adcenter, I didn't like them. Unfortunately, I am banned from Adwords as well. Hope to create fully different account in 2008
I had a similar experience: I had not selected my region to be targeted ... Once I fixed this, still no ads ... contacted AdWords support, they said they identified and fixed a technical problem ... but still no ads... I contacted AdWords support again, who said they identified and fixed a different technical problem ... but still no ads showing ... It turned out that my ads ad been in the reviewing queue all this time - but were listed as "active" in the campaign ... so there was no way of me knowing why no ads were being displayed. Seems that the AdWords support staff could not work it out either... Once the ads were Ok'd all was fine .. Very confusing to a AdWords newbie ... K
i agree, AdW is much more convenient, allows for detailed targetting and brings tons of traffic if you're willing to pay.. though i still have not got economics right my conversion is still low, i spend on PPC more then i sell.. maybe i'm in a wrong niche for PPC..
Read PPC Guides, read Help Center and watch Learning Center. There are no secrets about Adwords, all you need to do is read and learn.
I think that you're picking in a ultra-competitive HPK area, such as 'mortgage' or 'insurance', etc. Imagine that all ads which triggered by that same set of HPK, crammed into one place. That's more crowd than one Rolling Stone concert.
