So I built a new website. I am selling a niche program which I have resell rights to. I have a very good markup as I buy this product at wholesale. The average selling price for similair competative products are in the $24-$35 range. My cost is $5.50 a unit. So I picked my keywords. They get a good amount of hits per day. My ads are doing pretty good. I'm getting an average of 3-6% CTR on the heavier searched keyphrases. My overall campaign stats for the day for the whole campaign is: 48 clicks 2425 impressions 1.98% ctr $0.09 avg CPC 4.7 avg position 0% conversions google analytics shows that the average viewer spends about 4 minutes on my page as well. So they are obviously taking the time to read up about the product and watch the video(s). I haven't sold a product yet. But my landing page is very well designed. On the page I offer a 100% money back guarantee within 20 days if the client feels the software did not help them. Now I was thinking about changing the "buy now" buttons to say "try now risk free" and see if that would increase the chances of a sale. In your opinion since they would be click that button and going to an order form would that be a turnoff and hurt me... like maybe they feel tricked? Or should I go with it... or just wait and see if a make a conversion after like 100 clicks?
I'd wait, I know when I buy some thing after watching videos. It takes a couple of days before I go back and buy, but I'm not everyone. I don't know how much detail you have posted in the guarantee, you might want to, give more info on the guarantee. Like, send software back, post marked by midnight of twentieth day, no question asked. Something like that could help.
rather than offer a 20-day money back, flip it around - don't take any money until after the 20 days is up certainly no need to worry yet. only 48 clicks. only panic when you get over 200-300 with 0 sales. also you might want to offer a better bonus. most people buy because of the bonus not the product. help to make them concentrate on the perceived value rather than the cost. & beware making assumptions - we've al seen "very well designed" landing pages that convert horribly. The only solution is to test (use GWO - it's free) good luck! mike
Have you tested your web site thoroughly to make sure there's no technical issues preventing purchases? You may need to revisit your campaign targeting to make sure you're attracting the right traffic. Research your keywords further, add more if you need to, write more targeted ads around those keywords to get traffic that's going to convert through your doors.
look at your competitor landing page and see what method they have used. As they are old in business so there landing page will give you idea of perfect design, sales words and order method.
Actually 48 clicks is not too much. Also you should not choose too broad keywords if it heavily searched.
