I put together an ad group and ad (just one) with 4 keywords with 5 or 7 out of 10 quality scores on Monday. The ads still aren't live it said and when I scrolled over the icon it says: "All text ads in this ad group need to be reviewed by AdWords Specialists before they're eligible to show. Ads are reviewed in order of submission." I haven't used Adwords in a while now, but I don't remember ever having to wait before to see my ads live, what's the deal? I thought the beauty of Adwords was that ads begin showing almost immediately.
All ads are reviewed in one form or another. The software first does a review and, if passed, ads are approved and running in minutes. If there's something that catches its eye, it will be put into manual review. How long that takes depends on volume that have to be checked and where you're sitting in the queue. See Adwords Review Process.
certain keywords in the ad will trigger a manual review. you could call them, but if you are new they wont answer and you will have to email.
I've had this recently with ads in my account. For some reason they just stay at Pending Review. I found that simply removing the ad and creating it again will get the ad through in a few minutes. Seems as though the ads just get lost somewhere in the system !
Yeah you're right I guess I have words that triggered the manual review but cripes it's taking forever. This is a ridiculous thing to have to put up with from the internet's leading ad machine. If I tweak the add will it start the whole process over again? Also, if I create a new ad within this same ad group but targeting the same triggering words, will I still have to wait this long?
I would try submitting another ad. i agree with the above poster, sometimes they just seem to get lost. Most of mine have been approved in minutes. One time I made about 4 new ads and it took them about 24 hours to approve, but that was the longest. It doesn't cost anything to submit another ad.
What kind of keywords are you bidding on? Seems something on your LP or a keywords from your adgroup caught Adwords Filters to trip.
most likely your account has been banned. when accounts are banned, google always put it "All text ads in this ad group need to be reviewed by AdWords Specialists before they're eligible to show. Ads are reviewed in order of submission. " when you email them asking about the ads, then they will tell you, that you have been banned.
better check out to see if they have a problem with the landing page. if there is a problem with it,they won't show your ads
