I se your ads, maybe for suggest, your ads is not in the top, so everyone need to scrolldown and find your ads
some people will deluge to do this, just make sure your ads is in the top, inthe article or on the top of sidebar

For the most part your placement is good. The only thing I would look into changing would be the half banner at the bottom. You may want to add a unit into the content with wrap around text above the fold and see what that does for you.

I would add an adbox to a prominent place on the mainpage. Most preferably on the top of the page. This will increase the clicks you will get.

Just add a smaller adbox there so it will not annoy too much your visitors.
