From May 26th to July 12th, out of 1580 visitors. 1054 have been from Search Engines. Among the 1054, over 900 have been from Google. Unfortunately, I do not have analytics for the date before May 26th. 4. 142 articles waiting to be published. 5. Posting frequency increased from 1 a day to 2-3 a day. Sometimes 4. So far, So Good.
Good to hear everything is going well. You have submitted 2 articles to 10 dirs, have you submitted same articles to all of the dirs or made any changes?
These articles you are submitting to directories. Are they articles from your site? if they are.. have they already been indexed by Google?.. and are they the full articles or part of the article? and have you had the articles rewritten in any way or are they an exact copy of the articles from your site? Sorry about all the questions.. just curious Cheers James
1. No, they ain't from my site. 2. They are full 400-500 words original articles written solely for the purpose of article submission. Hopw that answers your query
I mean article submissions services, SEO, and article writers. I wonder how you choose the writers and how much you spend on it. Also how much, in percentage, of visitor come from article directory? Thanks for sharing...
@marketsnipers:I am just reading all the posts(including the first journal) and i must say i learned a lot of new things... keep us updated..... I just saved the printable version of both the threads and i am reading it again
1. No, I haven't hired any article submission service. I am submitting myself to top 10 directories. 2. I have outsourced the Link building aspect of SEO. 3. As I said before, I have 3 writers. 4. How I chose the writers? Based on their previous work and an initial assignment of 10 articles to each of them. 5. I am yet to see any traffic from article directories. The articles were accepted just 3-4 days back only.
UPDATE One month analytics from June 14th to yesterday. I don't have data before this date. 1175 visitors 1057 UVs 809 from Search Engines(70.66%) 1602 pageviews 1:02 average time Adsense Data for same period - $34.87 earned $1.12 average/day Article Marketing - Submitted - 2 Directories - 10 Approved - 6
marketsnipers, I seldom see such post in DP... you are doing great! Good job! Your plan, move, strategy, words inspired a lot of people out there includes myself! I like the way you co-ordinate the plan and work it out. This shows people impossible become possible! Keep on going man! I will be followed behind Jeremy
@ marketsnipers: are these stats for 1 site or all your sites? Also, do you feel that your sites are sandboxed? I also started my new pets site around the same time and I only received 179 UVs from Google. I feel the site is sandboxed since all of the UVs from the search engine found my site using extra long phrases. Been following your journey from day 1, keep it up!
Wrik, The stats are from 1 site. I don't think I have been sandboxed. Majority of my traffic is from Google and I get indexed pretty fast too. What have you done to get sandboxed? Did you build a 100 links in a day? Or anything similar? Plus, does your site contain original content?
Actually, haven't started to build links yet, been focusing on good quality content for the past month or so. My content is unique, except that I submitted 10 articles out of 110 to ezinearticles. This might be a mistake because I posted the articles on my site first, then to ezine-without re-writing them. All my articles have been indexed in Google. I read that popular niches (dogs and cats would fit the bill I assume) get sandboxed pretty much automatically so I like to think this might be the reason.
UPDATE I think my site is entering/has entered the Google Sandbox/Aging Delay Filter. My rankings are dropping faster than a rock. I will wait for a few more days and watch the trend. If I am convinced it is the Sandbox, I will reduce the posting frequency from 2-3 articles a day to just one. The point is to feed fresh content and keep the site active. Lastly, I am not worried about the sandbox at all. It is a natural process and will pass sooner or later.
