I created 2 blogs with the same topic and exactly the same content under my domain. The first blog has a colored theme with some graphics and adsense ads are well positioned. The second blog with the same content has no graphics and just a plain theme and ads are well positioned too... After 3 days, total earnings of the first blog is $2.56 while the second blog has $13.75.. Now I could say that having a site w/o any graphics and not so colorful is very effective because visitors has nothing to click but your ads.. ... I am going to keep my second blog and continue posting.. I will delete the first one because it is not good to have duplicate content.. The first one is impressive but visitors are targeted and I think they just want information and didn't mind how the site looks... The second blog also captured 1st place in google using many of its keywords... You can do trial and error experiments if you are planning to do a long-term business with adsense.. Never give-up....
Hmmm....Sound logical. Anyway how long does it take for you to setup the whole experiment (prepare the 2 blogs) before you could collect data for the 3 days? Is both of them setup at the same time and hosted on the same domain? custom or free host? Both blogs receive the same amount of impressions? These things have to take into account before you come to a conclusion.
Both are hosted in the same domain with 2 separate subdomains under my main domain myseoblog.net... Took only 1 day to set-up both using wordpress and ready-made themes... The traffic from google is unquestionable and I can show you the traffic data of the second blog if needed. Both blogs are in Technical niche...
yes thats true if your site is bad designs peoples just want to leave your site ..so while leaving they just click the ads that interest them and leave.. and yea such peoples will never come again..
true and false... yes, people will leave and click the ads as exit click but they will return...because my blog is very specific to what they need... they will just leave after reading the content and got what they want but they will always return for updates...
may be picture makes people pay attention to them and without them people will pay more attention to the ads.
Certainly... and without pictures that can get their attention, they will click on ads instead.. That is what happening to my experiment..
