My adsense earning very low - Please help

Hi Guys I have a classified site www.classified4u.biz
I am getting very low earnings from it about 1$ to 2$ per day from 300 UV.
I know that my niche "free classifed" is very low rate. My average clicks 15 to 20 per day. CTR 1 to 2.
Please help me how I can get more traffic and more earnings from adsense.

Where your visitors are coming from? Search your keywords in Spyfu to get the CPC. If your keyword CPC is higher and you are getting less each click then your are smart priced. You need Organic SE traffic to get max CPC. Also make sure you are ranking on 1st page on Bing and Yahoo. Usually they are the buying traffic than Big G.

I suggest you move the skyscraper on the left to a Banner just above the directory listing on your homepage and make the Ad links to Blue instead of Pink.

To get more traffic, you need to rank #1 for "free classified"

Try experimenting with different color schemes and placements. Put channels on your ads to track down which one has a higher ctr and use the same ads through out your website. You should increase your ctr above 5%. Good luck.

The pages should be the same size as this DP - scroll across is bad. Blended text ads (not images) do better. I think an image (not google ad) on the page is easier on the eye and has the effect of blending the content and ads.

To drive more traffic to your site write some short link articles, publish them on a adsense share site and you'll start generating additional income and traffic - Xomba does well for me (see my signature) but also snipsly.com is massively improved over the last week or two and gives 80% of adsense share.

With AdSense it is just a numbers game, the more sites and traffic you have, the bigger your chances to earn more money. Anyway if you have a low click value topic for your site it will be more difficult to increase your earnings.

So as many suggested in this post, you can do two things: increase traffic, play with the positions of your ads.

I will add to this, maybe try to create a new site with a different topic with a higher click value, you will need to dedicate the same amount of effort but you can earn more money in this way.
