I use adsense ads on my site to make money.

I noticed these days adsense rate per each click is very low in my site. Most of time it is 5-8 cents. But i have received over $ 1.00 few months before. Why situation like this. What should i do to increase pay rate per click. Please advise me.

switch up the ad layout, try it for a few weeks. If it doesn't change try something else.

Also, as stated above, get more traffic.

You have very few posts. Create more pages of good quality content.

And secondly, place your ads with your content. Either between the title and the post body or after the post body.

You cannot be successful with adsense with such a low posting frequency, you must publish at least 2-3 quality posts daily. More pages means more chances of occurence in search engines, more adsense impressions and probably more clicks.

It's due to Christmas season... I even get $0.1 for 2 clicks. Your past earnings should be come back in mid of January.

Your new content can be full of low-price keywords.

Check it and try to improve prices of keywords, ok?

I think bring in more visitors will not effect for my "rate per click". Changing niche can be effect.

Yeah, its been happening to me as well.

It's quite simple to understand actually. Advertisers are willing to pay a certain amount to bring in an actual customer. Due to the current economy less people are buying. Therefore, instead of every 100 clicks bringing in a customer, its taking 200 (for example). Hence they are willing to pay less per click.

I hope it goes up soon though!

Try to increase traffic and use hubpages for adsense.
