My adsense aren't showing on site? 403 Forbidden?

Discussion in 'Placement / Reviews / Examples' started by VistaXP, Jan 22, 2006.

For some reason, my adsense does not show up with the server I'm in, I've tested in same host, but different server, and it worked fine! Some reason, my server is blocking google ads. On IE, it gives me a 403 - Forbidden message where my adsense should have been. Anyone experience this problem or can someone offer some help to fix this?

URL is - http://openlite.5gigs.com/adsensetest.html -. I removed adsense from my main pages, but still have my test page with adsense, it should be below the <!--Advertisement--> label on the left.

I tried to check your robots.txt file and got this:

I'm not suggesting that is the reason for your AdSense problem but it needs to be fixed.

No, actually that page appears when a page does not exist, I forgot to delete that page. I made that with .htaccess. So robots.txt doesn't exist. Why were you looking for robots.txt? Does it affect adsense?

Just one of the things I check... I have seen robots.txt files that inadvertently block bots that they don't really want to be blocking. Obviously, if you don't even have a robots.txt file, that's not the problem in your case.

I couldn't seen anything wrong with the code on your test page.

What have you got in your htaccess file?

Have you been banned by AdSense?

I don't believe I was banned. I've tested my adsense in other webhosting and all working okay. I narrow it down that the server my site is hosted on is misconfigured in some way. I tried asking them to switch me to a different server, but they seem to take awhile to respond back. :(
